Our speaker is airshow and stunt pilot Dean Engelhardt. His 14,000 hours in the air includes every class and category of aircraft, and piloting experience ranging from experimental test, movie stunt, Alaskan bush, aerobatics airshow to competition flying.
Dean’s program, “Crashing Aircraft for Fun and Profit,” is a humorous, illustrated talk about the little-known career of a motion picture stunt pilot. In his career, Dean has successfully crashed 14 aircraft!
Our Wednesday, November 13th meeting will be at the John Wayne Airport Administration Offices building. Social: 6:30 Program 7:15
3.) Christmas stockings for our military are due to Patty Murray by November 24th, you can bring them to the meeting.
If you do not have time to make a stocking, you can still participate!
Linda E, Colleen H, and Patty M have volunteered to make stocking for those who
don’t have the time. These will be a donation box, and Christmas cards so you can write a note to a serviceman
at the meeting. Can you imagine being overseas serving your country and not even receiving a Christmas card?
(Details on stocking in NovemberPlane Tales.)
